The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts is seeking entries for the Fourth Annual Vern Riffe After Dark event
The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts is seeking entries for the Fourth Annual Vern Riffe After Dark event that will be held on Oct. 26, 2017.
All Shawnee State University students and local artists are encouraged to submit their work for the event. Artists will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their artwork at the After Dark event.
The VRCFA’s After Dark event is committed to create a network of artists and viewers in the SSU and Portsmouth community.
All applicants are asked to submit three samples of their work through image or link attachments in an email along with their completed application. The submitted pieces do not have to be the pieces for display on the night of the event.
“All summer people have been asking when the next After Dar even will be held,” said Joe Patti, Director of VRCFA. “One of the biggest thrills for many people is realizing their next door neighbor is so talented.”
Applications can be downloaded from the VRCFA’s website at https://vrcfa.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Fall-2017-After-Dark-Application.pdf.
All applications must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by Oct. 13.
Upon acceptance of work, a $20 table fee is due by Oct. 23.
