The VRCFA is seeking art work entries for the Third Annual After Dark event April 13.
The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts is seeking art work entries for the Third Annual Vern Riffe After Dark event to be held on Thurs., April 13.
All Shawnee State University students and local artists are welcomed to submit entries for the event. They will have the opportunity to display and sell their artwork during the event. The After Dark event aims to create a network of artists and viewers in the SSU and Portsmouth community.
Interested artists are asked to submit three samples of their work through attachments of images or links in an email with their completed application. The submitted pieces do not have to be the pieces that will be displayed at the event. Artists are asked to indicate on their application if they would like their work to be displayed in the community prior to the event.
“The After Dark event has always been such a great success that we thought by having local businesses/organizations participate more in the event, we can draw more attention by giving the community a sneak peak of what to expect at the event,” said Joe Patti, VRCFA Director.
Applications can be downloaded from the VRCFA website and mailed to email@example.com. The deadline to submit your entries is March 10. Upon acceptance of your work, a $20 participation fee will be due by April 7.
Additional information can be found online at vrcfa.com or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
