Shawnee State University welcomes Angie Duduit as the new Workforce Development & Entrepreneurship Coordinator.
The role will focus on workforce development, student field experience, and entrepreneurship. As Coordinator, Duduit will act as the primary contact for employers and will drive programs that expand and align graduate employment and support for the regional workforce. Duduit will also enhance SSU experiential learning opportunities by making resources available for employers to more easily hire undergraduates for internship and co-op positions.
“Working at Shawnee State is a great opportunity for me,” said Duduit. “I attended SSU as a student while it was a community college, and now I have the opportunity to contribute back to help the university grow as a coordinator and maximize internship opportunities for the students.”
Duduit is a native of Scioto County who graduated from Clay High School. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Journalism from Ohio University in Athens. She has more than 24 years of experience in public affair and community relations with Centrus Energy Corp. Duduit is also a member of the Southern Ohio Port Authority Board which works to promote economic development in Scioto County and the local region. She lives in Lucasville, OH, with her husband, Del, and they have two sons, Gabe and Eli.
