Magician Jason Bishop will be performing as part of the 2015-16 Southern Ohio Performing Arts Association/Shawnee State University season at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.
The audience will be left breathless by Bishop’s fast moving series of illusions set to an outstanding rock and pop soundtrack. His stunning performance will also include the rare Double Levitation, where both he and his assistant, Kim Hess, are suspended midair at the same time.
Each show features award winning sleight of hand, cutting edge Optical-Art and Plasma illusions, close-up magic projected onto large movie screens.
Bishop is an international award-winning illusionist who was the youngest person to win the Magician’s Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award and one of the youngest people to compete in the Society of American Magicians World-Class competition. He has entertained celebrities like Chris Penn, Jennifer Aniston and Bam Margera and at notable venues as Celebrity Cruise lines, Cabaret Du Monde in Paris, France, and LiveNation’s Bamboozle Festival.
