The Shawnee State University Theatre Department will launch the production of Harvey by Mary Chase on September 24 through 26 and October 1 through 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kahl Studio Theater at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.

Harvey portrays the story of Elwood Dowd and his invisible rabbit best friend who he introduces to everyone and insists that he is real. The play won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1945 and is best know as a film starring James Stewart.
