Shawnee State University will offer entrepreneurism as a minor.

Starting the 2015-16 academic year, Shawnee State University will offer entrepreneurism as a minor. The entrepreneurism minor is a unique interdisciplinary program designed to teach students how to start their own businesses. To earn the minor, students need to take a total of 23 earned credit hours of the required courses. The minor will be available for Business and non-Business majors pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at SSU.

"The entrepreneurism minor is a great addition to the university since small business are the heart of a healthy economy and the entrepreneurs are the key to that success. This new minor will equip students with the business skills to pare perfectly with their technical skills and create a winning combination,” said Ed Daniels, SSU graduate, currently working to create a SSU alumni business plan competition.
