SSU’s Gamma Nu chapter of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner Jan. 24.
On Jan. 24, Shawnee State University’s Gamma Nu chapter of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner, with all proceeds going to the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, Inc. (ANAD). The dinner, located at Hope Café on Chillicothe Street, will last from 6-8 p.m.
ANAD is a non-profit corporation that seeks to prevent and alleviate the problems of eating disorders like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder. The Hope Café is also non-profit, relying on donations to maintain a Christian atmosphere centered on home-cooked meals.
The cost is $8 for single tickets and $13 for couples. Half of the proceeds from the Spaghetti Dinner will be donated to ANAD and the other half will go to the Hope Café.
