University Staff Assembly (USA)

Mission Statement

The University Staff Assembly (USA) recognizes its shared responsibility for the performance of the University in carrying out its mission. We understand and support the need for commitment to the decision processes by which the University conducts its work and maintains its standards. To that end, the mission of the USA is to improve communication among our own constituency, and then among the University community, to actively participate in governance on the SSU campus, thereby strengthening the University and assisting in carrying out its commitment to education.
