When Erica Mann began her search for colleges, she said that affordability was at the top of her list. Knowing that she would pay for her education herself, she looked for universities that offered low tuition and high academic standards. She says she found exactly what she was looking for at Shawnee State University.
She found something else too – professors who helped her find her passion, fueled her love of history and learning, and showed her how she could stand out from the crowd.
Erica just graduated from Shawnee State University and is excited about her future. She plans to continue with a master's degree and PhD and hopes to one day be able to inspire her own students in the same way that her SSU professors have inspired her.
