How to handle an emergency situation in a classroom or
on the campus.
In an emergency situation it is so easy to forget the phone numbers that need to be utilized. Thus, in every classroom a “green” sign is posted near the chalkboard containing emergency phone numbers.
During the normal work day access to a telephone in an emergency situation is relatively easy. In the evening this is a different story with offices closed, etc. Thus, emergency phones with instructions are available in the following locations:

The campus is equipped with fire alarm systems throughout each building. If such an emergency exists, contact the fire department immediately at 9-911. In addition, Security at ext. 3232, should be contacted after reporting the fire to the Fire Department.
When contacting Security at ext. 3232 give details as to
the type of emergency, the location, and your name. An incident report
needs to be filed on each emergency.
