Rehearsal for Commencement will be at 12 pm on Friday, May 3 on the Alumni Green. Rehearsal should last for approximately one hour. You do not need to wear your cap and gown. Coming to rehearsal is not mandatory, but you will receive valuable information that will help you with the process on graduation day.

Severe Weather Plan

In the event of severe weather which may keep the ceremony from being held outdoors there will be two ceremonies inside the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.

First Ceremony: 10 am

Second Ceremony: 2 pm

If necessary, tickets for the severe weather ceremonies will be distributed April 23–May 3.

If the ceremony is moved indoors each graduate will receive three tickets. Tickets can be picked up at the McKinley Box Office in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts beginning on April 23. Those who need additional tickets will be put on a waiting list once they have picked up their original three tickets.

Tickets must be picked up by the graduating student. They can not be picked up by anyone else. Tickets can be picked up until Friday, May 3 at 5:00 pm. Extra tickets for both indoor ceremonies are very limited. We ask that you make a plan with your family to determine who will be attending the ceremony if the Severe Weather plan is implemented.

Live Webcast

Family members without tickets can watch a live webcast of the ceremonies online. An overflow area will be held in the Flohr Lecture Hall and other campus locations to watch the webcast live for those who do not have tickets to watch the ceremony in the theater.
