Presidential Charge to committee for 2009–2010 The Special Events Committee is a university-wide committee charged, but not limited to, planning spirit-building activities (including, but not limited to, the annual service pin awards luncheon, university-wide picnic, and the holiday dinner) that provide the campus community with opportunities to renew acquaintances, make new friends, share ideas, and simply have a good time. I also as the committee to once again work with the campus offices and groups responsible for Homecoming and graduation planning and activities to ensure that there is coordination of efforts and communication about Homecoming and Graduation. It will be appropriate for the Committee to make recommendations for future Homecoming and Graduation activities.
