Presidential Charge to committee for 2007–2008

The committee is charged to:

·        Develop a university-wide structure for assessment for university programs and functions that includes the collection and utilization of data as facilitated by the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment addressing principles of continuous improvement and AQIP guidelines.

·        Recommend methods for communicating assessment findings to the university committee.

·        Recommend infrastructure that facilitates continued assessment, evaluation, and utilization of data in institutional decision-making.

·        Recommend a student engagement instrument to support our participation in the Voluntary System of Accountability by no later than November 15, 2007.

·        Insure that substantial assessment projects are developed and undertaken throughout the university.
