TK20 Information and Help

Why TK20? 

The SSU School of Education is committed to providing our students and faculty with the technology to document growth and development of professional competencies related to our program offerings. To help us in this effort, we have partnered with TK20, a comprehensive web-based assessment and reporting system that provides students, faculty, administrators and our clinical site constituents with a rich set of tools to help manage these tasks. 

The TK20 system is used in a variety of ways including: 

  • Applications for Admission and Retention in Teacher Education 
  • Electronic field evaluation forms to be completed by Cooperating Teachers and University Faculty
  • Keeping records of student documents and field placement data
  • Advising using Transition Points to ensure students are following their program's sequence 
  • Submission of Key Assessments
