Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
The Department of
Social Sciences' psychology program provides students with a general
understanding of classic and contemporary theory and research into
human behavior and mental processes. Our program provides a strong
foundation in the science and application of psychology, emphasizing
clinical/counseling psychology, social and developmental psychology,
learning and cognition, and biopsychology. Completion of the program
will prepare you for any form of employment emphasizing interaction
with other people as well as advanced study in the field. Electives can be utilized for the completion of a minor. For those students interested in pursuing graduate school, many graduate programs require calculus as a prerequisite. Students considering a future Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Psychology should Take MATH courses up through Calculus 2 (Currently MATH 2120) |
