Special Notes

  • HIST 1199, HIST 2299, HIST 3399, and HIST 4499 (Special Topics Courses), with the authorization of the History Program Coordinator or the Social Science Department Chairperson, can be substituted for courses required for the major.
  • To receive credit towards the major, students must achieve a grade of C or higher in all required history courses.
  • History courses taken on a pass/no-credit or audit basis will not count toward the major.
