The student will develop the analytic skills, knowledge base and attitudes necessary to use mathematics well

The student will have the ability to learn and communicate mathematics and other technical information independently

The student will have an understanding of the role of technology as a tool in the mathematical sciences

Success in graduate school,  and the results of the senior project paper (many of the projects use computer software but not all)

The student will have a solid understanding of the core subjects of undergraduate mathematics

The student will have an understanding of introductory statistics and elementary computer programming
