Mini-Biography

Dr. Mauldin is an analytical chemist with interests in applications of supercritical fluid extraction and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, educational research in chemistry and scientific reasoning, and general education. He is responsible for the acquisition of the departmental gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer and supercritical fluid extractor, obtained through a grant from the National Science Foundation. Dr. Mauldin serves the university in the capacity of Coordinator of the General Education Program.
