Minor in American or British Literature

This minor allows students to concentrate their coursework on either American or British literature.  The introductory classes are required to provide students with an introduction to literary developments important to either American or British literature. Students build on those introductory courses by selecting three courses of individual intrest.

Minor in British Literature (15 hours)

• ENGL 2211 and 2212 required

• Students select three courses in British literature at the 3000 level or above.

Minor in American Literature (15 hours)

• ENGL 2251 and 2252 required

• Students select three courses in American literature at the 3000 level or above.
