Mission Statement

At Shawnee State University, the primary mission of the Department of Public Safety is to provide a secure and safe learning environment through the utilization of campus-oriented security philosophies that actively encourages cooperation and support of all members of the University community to decrease the opportunities for crime.

The  mission for every member of this office is to consistently seek and find ways to affirmatively promote, preserve and deliver a feeling of security, safety and quality services to members of our community.
